IMAGINATION IS A FUNNY THING!
I wrote this fantasy musical as an alternative to the traditional pantomime. A very peculiar trait only found in these British Isles and is generally acknowledged to be modelled on the early masques of the Elizabethan and Stuart days but also has its roots in 'Commedia dell' Arte' Traditionally, performed during our Christmas period it is almost guaranteed to play to packed houses. I thought it would be 'fun' to write something on similar lines, using some of the well-known popular characters, but my musical 'pantomime' can be performed any time of the year.!

SYNOPSIS
The story of Pantomania takes you on a mystical journey into a fantasy world, where the 'words on the pages' become 'real live characters', when 'Victoria' falls into a wishing well then on clambering out, finds herself in the 'Children's Section' of a library bookshelf. We now follow 'Toria as she wanders from book to book and page to page, trying to find her way home, (ably?) assisted by an odd assortment of characters in this book- world where fantasy really does become reality.
"If you truly believe in that sort of thing!"
